Who we are

Cashauro ("we") operates cashauro.com, a rewards platform where you earn points by completing offers from third-party partners and redeem them for gift cards, cash, or crypto.

Data we collect

  • Account: name, email, password (hashed), country, referral relationships.
  • Earning activity: offers started/completed, points ledger, cashout history.
  • Payout details: PayPal email, gift-card delivery email, or crypto address (encrypted at rest).
  • Verification (KYC): for payouts above our verification threshold, identity documents
  • processed by our verification partner. We store the outcome, not the raw documents.

  • Anti-fraud signals: IP address, device fingerprint, browser data, session history.
  • We collect these because paying real money attracts automated abuse; without them we could not keep payouts reliable for legitimate users.

Data shared with offer partners

When you open a partner offerwall, we pass a pseudonymous user ID so the partner can report completions back to us. Partners never receive your email or payout details from us. Each partner's own privacy policy governs what they collect inside their wall.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Contract performance (running your account and paying you), legitimate interest (fraud prevention, security), consent (non-essential cookies, marketing emails), legal obligation (KYC/AML where applicable).

Retention

Account data: while your account exists and up to [X] years after closure where required for financial record-keeping and dispute resolution. Ledger records are retained as financial records. Fraud-investigation data: up to [X] months after resolution.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion (subject to financial-record obligations), portability, objection. Contact: privacy@cashauro.com. EU/UK users may complain to their supervisory authority.

International transfers

We use processors that may operate outside your country; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
